I took the bottom part of the back seat out and now I can't get it back in. I know there's two clips in the front of the seat that are supposed to snap in but I can't get the seat to slide in far enough to clip it. Is there some kind of trick to this? How do I get the bottom of the back seat of my 98 Audi A4 back in?Try pushing the seat bottom towards the seat back at a 45 degree angle, until it won't slide any further. When the seat bottom is all the way slid back (still at a 45 degree angle) then push the front down. How do I get the bottom of the back seat of my 98 Audi A4 back in?What the heck are you doing taking your seat out? Are you mental? How do I get the bottom of the back seat of my 98 Audi A4 back in?No trick you have to push hard for clips to snap in.use your knee to press it in.Own an A4 same age.Regards Mick UK.How do I get the bottom of the back seat of my 98 Audi A4 back in?
Keep it out, don't bother putting it back in. It makes the car lighter and in return makes it faster. Get rid of the passenger seat as well. Well your at it remove the full size spare tire in the trunk and tear up the carpet. With today's gas prices your gonna be rich in a few months!!! You can thank me later.
