How do I replace the headlamp in my 2002 Audi A4?

This is on the driver's side. I removed two torq screws on top -- there's supposed to be two more further down in the engine compartment, but I can't find them -- where are they?? Well, if it's the latter, you can see some pictures of how it's done at a website called www.audiworld.com. I used to own a 2002 Audi S4 and this site is awesome.

When you're on the website's homepage, go to Resources --%26gt; Tech Articles --%26gt; Exterior. There's an article called "Clear Corners for One Piece Headlamps" that has instructions on how to remote the headlamp. There are actually only 3 torx screws that hold the headlamp in place. All of them are on top...the 3rd is hidden down a hole.

Good luck and keep that website in your bookmarks! How do I replace the headlamp in my 2002 Audi A4?
your correct about the two 30t torx screws on the top. there are also two other 30t torx screws lower in the engine compartment. one is behind the headlight Assembly, in between the headlight and the power steering bottle, you might have to move the wire harness aside. the other screw is located on the side of the head light. standing in front of the vehicle and looking at the windshield, the screw will be on the left side of the head light. undo the plastic retainer holding the signal wire to the headlight Assembly. now you can pull the head light Assembly forward, unplug the harness from the headlight and be carefully to not scratch the paint on the bumper. good luck.
