How much is the part and how much is labor? How much should it cost to replace an alternator in a 2001 Audi TT?http://www.lkqonline.com/custom/product_results.aspx?SessionID=a63299da-1c17-4592-9bc6-8b50ced7f06b%26amp;make=Audi%26amp;model=TT%26amp;partname=Alternator%26amp;part=601_ALT%26amp;year=2001
That there is a link to a website where I bought my own replacement for my 2002 audi A4. It should take you directly to your cars year and model, listing the availability of alternators. Theres one with only 6 k on it too for a wicked low price. Depends what price range your looking for too. If you want brand new go with Dealership. That'll run you easily 3 to 4 hundred bones though ,without labor. If you got yourself a trusty mechanic he should treat you right. In my situation I had my part for 108.00 and labor was 150.00 .Total of 258.00 for the whole show. As far as LKQ is concerned, I have bought my A4s replacement transmission, alternator, radiator, and collant resevoir and have had no problems with them (plus they were all great prices). Good company to do business with. Good luck man.How much should it cost to replace an alternator in a 2001 Audi TT?The Alternator for this car is about $175.00 and with the core its about $260.00. The labor cost will probably be in between $100-$200. so a total of about $450 at the most!
