I have a 1999 Audi A4 that makes a noise similar to what a bad wheel bearing makes what could be making it?

The wheel bearings have been checked and they are all good.I have a 1999 Audi A4 that makes a noise similar to what a bad wheel bearing makes what could be making it?Checked brake pad thickness lately? The pads have a wear indicator which rubs the rotor when the pads are down to the replace point. Sometimes those sound a bit like a wheel bearing.I have a 1999 Audi A4 that makes a noise similar to what a bad wheel bearing makes what could be making it?Maybe its a cat underneath car?I have a 1999 Audi A4 that makes a noise similar to what a bad wheel bearing makes what could be making it?im assuming its comming from a wheel side.. i would skip right past the brakes.. go back to the wheel bearing... how did they check it? did they just look.. you will only see if its bad in the "worst" conditions.. if its starting to go, it will look normal.. .. is your car a 5sp.. does it make the same noise with clutch peddle down or up? the trhow out bearing in the clutch will make a simular sound but you will mainly hear it at idle when your foot is OFF THE CLUTCHI have a 1999 Audi A4 that makes a noise similar to what a bad wheel bearing makes what could be making it?
I agree with the first guy. I have had the same sound coming from one of my audis and that is all that is was. If you have the money it wouldn't hurt you to just replace the all your pads and bearing. good luck.
