Thinking about a 90s mercedes or bmw or audi?

So I want either a mercedes c230, bmw 325, or audi a4. I'm thinking late 90s. I need a car thats reliable and not rediculously expensive to get worked on. Any suggestions on which of these would be best?Thinking about a 90s mercedes or bmw or audi?@Nima

this answer is a trick question because you'll only receive biased answers. your best bet is to check out dedicated forums on all three brands to see which are most reliable. yes, there is a possibility that all three will definitely be costly on parts but if you're a do-it-yourself guy (and know what you're doing) then it should be no problem



In my opinion, as a biased answer as well, I would choose the E36 325i with a 5spd man because its really the only car worth buying used. but then again that is a opinionated answer.Thinking about a 90s mercedes or bmw or audi?

I would go with the E320 97-99 if you want the late 90's Much better than the C Class. The E Class have way less problems and dont break down. I owned 98 E430 and put 228K never a problem. 1 Radiator and 2 Trans Fluid changes.

Any Mercedes with a 560 model number is a collector's item and will hold it's value very well. They are a bit more expensive to maintain, but over time it will appreciate in value.

the C230 are pretty well bullit proof, but with any of these the repairs can get expensive
look for a used car like that dont buy a BMW or an audi because the young peaple befor you injoied allready all the performence from the engine and when you buy it you will have to go to a garage every day almost.I would recomand you the Mercedes benz, the Class are relible and economic, or its a good choice to go with the E190 1.9 engine or an E190 2.3 both economic and RELIBLE if you find a clean used mercedes you found a dream car.very smooth and relible. so go with the Mec.benz
