What are the problems with an audi a/c compressor?

I have had to replace the a/c compressor 3 times on my '04 Audi A6. Is there some promblem with the part itself?What are the problems with an audi a/c compressor?you have been ripped off, they are very reliable and rarely need replacing, you may have a misaligned drive belt or idler which is wrecking the A/C bearing and/or seal, the magnetic clutch can blow fuses but they are easy to replace, or too much refrigerant and/or oil has been put in the system
