What type of gas should I use in a Audi?

I am going to get a 2007 Audi A4, 2.0T. What type of gas should I use and how does elevation affect octane? (I live at 8150 feet)What type of gas should I use in a Audi?Agreed with Carlos. The Turbo will help with the less dense air. The octane that Audi recommends is 91 or more. It is always recommended to use premium fuel for these cars mainly due to the high compression and the boost levels causing higher pressures in the combustion chamber. The octane level is the fuels ability to prevent detonation. These cars have computers that will retard timing in the event of a knock occuring. So your car will be "under powered" in the conventional sense due to the lack of oxygen in the air at your elevation, however you wont feel the difference unless you travel down to sea level, but its not gonna feel all that different. What type of gas should I use in a Audi?
Since your Audi is a Turbo then you (absolutely) have to put Premium 91 in your Audi.

On the other hand, I have a 1998 Audi A6 Quattro 2.8L which I always put Unleaded 87 gasoline into. Never caused a problem and the car still runs fine. What type of gas should I use in a Audi?elevation doesnt affect octane. it affects air/fuel ratio. since the audi is so well regualted, elevation will make little or no impact. use whichever fuel is recommended by audi. What type of gas should I use in a Audi?
