Just to have an Idea. You know the commission percentage of the car's total value.Whats the usual commission earned by being a sales executive for companies such as Porsche, Audi and BMW?Probably not a %. You will get $150 to $500 per car. Each dealership will have a guideline for how you can "max out" on the earnings scale.
Selling used cars can actually make you more money at the same "new car" dealership since they have more room to pay you. It is not as cool as selling new cars.Whats the usual commission earned by being a sales executive for companies such as Porsche, Audi and BMW?Every dealer has their own payment system. You don't get a percent of the car's total value. Each car has a spiff on it which determines what you get paid for the sale. A spiff (or spiv) is an immediate bonus for a sale paid directly to a salesperson for selling a specific product.
The individual dealership establishes the spiff on each vehicle. Those that are harder to sell have a higher spiff payout. The ones that are "loaded" with high profit accessories pay a higher spiff. Those that are low priced, and pretty much sell themselves, have a low spiff payout.
