How to become an audi technician?

I want to become an audi technician and was thinking about trying to get into UTI for training. Is there a specific route I should go to increase my chances of getting accepted? What's needed to qualify?How to become an audi technician?I went to UTI and took the Audi training side. I kinda wish I hadn't though as UTI was very expensive. There was a lot of knowledge passed around through those walls tho. It is a very informative learning center and most teachers have a lot of experience under their belts. I had classmates that went through their local college and were still able to get into the Audi Academy. I know that they look for excellent attendance, fantastic GPA and a good head on your shoulders. There is an interview process that will ultimately determine whether you will get in or not. Its really no sweat as long as you keep your head on straight. If you have some head knowledge of cars, you may want to look into your local dealership and try to get in as an apprentice tech before you head into a training school. They have a FAST TRACK program that will send you to some schooling just like the Audi academy at UTI and will help you become a Registered level Tech. It never hurts to ask. Good luck!
