Is it possible to import an Audi Q5 or Q7 from Los Angeles to Australia?

Also, do you think you could get one with the steering wheel on the opposite side?

Any ideas welcome...Is it possible to import an Audi Q5 or Q7 from Los Angeles to Australia?i dont know why you would want to do that when you could just buy one in australia. i live in canada and we have a bit of an influx of 1993 or so right hand drive mercedes and bmw's being imported here. it becomes a bit of a problem when you want to insure your vehicle, the insurance companies will only insure the vehicle for damage or injury you cause to a third party, they wont cover own damage on the vehicle. there may be rules like this in australia which would make the vehicle difficult to insure.

No. You would not be able to get a right hand drive Q5 or Q7 car from the U.S. because they are not sold here or built here. You would need to either buy your Audi locally or import one from the U.K. as they drive on the same side of the road as you do.



I'm willing to bet that importing any new Audi such as the Q5 or Q7 will be very cost prohibitive.
