Any ideas on how to fix the door locks on a 1999 Audi A6. Any similar experiences???

I have a 1999 audi a6 2.8 quattro with about 117k miles. The rear right door opens from the outside but does not open when tried from the inside. How can i fix this problem? Is it one i can fix myself?Any ideas on how to fix the door locks on a 1999 Audi A6. Any similar experiences???Open the door and pull off the inner door panel. Inside you should see where the inner handle is connected to the latch by a series of rods. Are all the rods connected? If so the do they move when the inner door handle is operated? Process of elimination will lead you to the failed part. I would recommend that you have a shop do this though as it is very limited space and easy to damage the door panel.Any ideas on how to fix the door locks on a 1999 Audi A6. Any similar experiences???you did not say whether it was a 4 door car or not. check to see if the child safety lock is in the locked position, that would prevent the door from opening from the inside.
