What do you think of people who own Volvo, Audi & Lexus and call themselves rich...?

I mean like people who own Volvo, Audi and Lexus are still considered Middle Class or Upper Middle Class.



Mercedes Benz and Porsche is the benchmark to be called an Upper Class.



What do you think of these people who do not know their economic status and are still poor...?What do you think of people who own Volvo, Audi %26amp; Lexus and call themselves rich...?Poor and rich are relative terms (as compared to your recent situation).



If you put Paris Hilton on a budget of a $200K/yr and she suddenly could afford no more than a Mercedes "E" class, I'm sure she'd consider herself quite poor.



If a half-starved college student comes in to $10K, they're quite rich.



What you consider poor or rich is all about what you're personally used to. I had a group exercise recently where each person was asked to write down how much money per year they'd need to have to be "comfortable" and live a "decent" lifestyle - not rich, but not poor either. The range was huge.....(from $20K to about $400K).



It's all relative.



PS: And a Mercedes "C" class does not make one rich or upper class......a Mercedes AMG, OK........What do you think of people who own Volvo, Audi %26amp; Lexus and call themselves rich...?
i dont care really but Most upper middle class ppl are a fluke they are struggling to pay their mortgage and car notes. I cant tell you how many lawyers go to my dad to get advanced loans to make their car payments etc. They know their status, trust me. They are just in denial like most Americans.

THose professions are not for poor ppl. so shut up.

I live in AL. our standard of living is very low. You can buy a huge house for 150-200k. Most lawyers and doctors make about 75-125k in AL. The problem with them is not how much they make but the fact that they are horrible at managing money.
