Audi no is at the same or higher level as BMW and Mercedes. Now, since Audi is up there with the "best" simply meaning most popular companies its the same theory as cloths. Wrong, you will turn upside down when it comes to oil change and filter. It ridiculous trust me. I was considering the Audi A4 till i added up all the prices. I instead bought a 2007 Mazda 6. Now people think oh it s a Mazda big deal well Audi was like that too back in the day just that Mazda isn't as popular. The 6 is sporty, pretty quick stock, very easy to drive in snow (no kidding with traction control off) and you have amazing control. For example, before I gave the Mazda 6 to my dad in the winter i was able to hit regular speed limits while other cars couldn't. I had extreme control and if i fell into a slide I lifted the E brake and added gas, steering in my direction i wanted ( since its front wheel drive) and I was right back on track. Its a fun car with 5 star safety rating, great reliability, and low maintenance costs. Dont believe me, look in a car magazine with reviews about the car. It's hard to say for sure. Some steam is normal, because water is a by product of the catalytic converter. If the steam is clouds that obscure your view out the rear window, you could have a leaking head gasket. Has the car been using coolant? Is the level of coolant going down in the catch bottle? Has the car overheated lately? Any of these could mean a head or head gasket problem. Have it checked out. I have a 92 Audi 100 Quattro CS with a Bose sound system.
I want to know how to take out the factory stereo because I do not have those one things to pull it out. My back speakers are not working and my passenger speaker is not working. Which leaves me with just one speaker the driver side.

It has(had) a sludging problem, the water pump is nearly impossible to access and it's just too damn small for a big wagon.

A factory Bose system includes Bose speakers, amplifiers, and head unit, not just upgraded speakers. You'd have to swap all the components and re-wire the car, and you'd have to obtain the parts from a dealer parts department as they're not available in after-market shops. I have a 2003 Audi A4, no navigation and not bose. It has a positive wire and a ground wire coming through the car already from the previous owner. Hi I'm 21 been driving for 18months and am looking to upgrade my 1.2 fiat punto for a an Audi a3 TDI (1997-2001) I've noticed as being a diesel car most of the used have done more than 110,000 miles is that good for the age? Also what are the running costs like on a car like this?Is an Audi a3 expensive to run day to day?I can't give you the actual figures, but expect the fuel consumption to be slightly higher than your Punto. Maintenance and repair bills would cost a lot more as it is a luxury hatchback.

I'm running an aftermarket head unit in my '98 audi A4. Rather than running new wires to the rear speakers, I've decided to only use my front speakers. I was looking at some after market options, but I found out that the front speakers are only 4 inches! Can I put together a good component system with 4 inch speakers? Does anyone know if I can modify the car to fit 6.5" speakers?I'm trying to install a component speaker system in my '98 audi a4 .. instead .,.. ask yourself this .. Will the 3.5k , you spend on the transmission, be worth the hastle .. when you can go ahead and get a manual anyways .. ??

I found a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T with 140,000 miles on it.
It is a stick shift so i am a little worried about wear on the transmission but I believe Audi builds quality cars along with BMW and such.
Do you think this is too many miles to buy it at? I only need it to run another 3 years or so, back and forth to school.

Go to the audiworld web site and use the search function for "radio tools". Multiple people have posted directions for turning your average file folder runners into tools. Basically the metal runners in any ordinary file folder is already the exact width you need to insert into the radio slots. All you need to do is cut a notch at a 45 degree angle about a quarter inch from the end. You'll see pictures of the finished product in the various posts on audiworld.

Anyone offer advice on finding cheaper service deals for audi cars. Its now the 100,000mile service and i dont think its worth the whacking æ‹¢400 the Audi garage is charging to change oils/filter etc. Basically they are charging for the reset of the dash service light and the Audi stamp in the log book. okay, so about two months ago I met this guy, we'll call him Sam. I'm friends with his brother (Adam). Adam's in a band and Sam and I met at at one of Adam's gigs. We talked at the bar for about two hours and then ended up dancing together for the entire set of Adam's band.
Then I did not see Sam after that for a month, he did not get my number, nor did I get his.
about a month later, a friend and me went to a play that Adam and Sam were in together, went backstage and asked what they were up to after their show. Adam goes "I'm busy, but Sam here has nothing to do". So Sam went to the bar with me and my friend. Two of my other friends met up with us. That night he got my number, was sitting by me the entire time and then we all ended up going to perkins afterwards (besides one of my friends, who went home). He stayed out until four in the morning with me and my friends. He ended up dropping me off at my place, telling me that he wants to hang out again with me sometime and he's happy he was invited along.
A week goes by, he doesn't text or call. I have to ask him to hang out. But when I text him if he wants to go bowling with my friends and me he goes "yeah! That sounds really fun!" and that night he seems to have a lot of fun. Then the same two friends who went to perkins with us last time, went to perkins again after bowling with us again this night. Sam and me drove together while my two friends drove together. We had a lot more fun when it was just the two of us then when we were bowling, in the car we were laughing, talking, and singing to sublime. At perkins we both ordered coffee and he poured and mixed mine for me, I thought that was kind of cute. When I brought him back to his car, we hug, he says "until next time!" and he seemed really excited to see me again.
Then he doesn't text or call ever. Then the next weekend comes up and I end up texting him saying "hey sam, how've ya been?" and it ended up just chit chatting and I eventually ask "what are you doing tonight?" We went to applebees, he drove, he paid, we laughed a lot, we talked a lot, there were never any awkward moments. uhhhh YEAH he is totally into you. And the reason he isn't calling you is because he's probably afraid that you will say no. In fact, he's probably wonderind if you like him too! I mean, that's just how guys are. Also, another reason why he might not be calling is because you ALWAYS call him, and he will figure that you will again so there is no point in asking you. so don't freak. He likes you. No doubt. But my advice is to keep things simple. And not move too quickly with your friendzone relationship, because he can get turned off.Do you think this guy is into me or not?

Next time you're with him, try asking, jokingly, what the deal is with him not callin you. Maybe you'll be surprised and he'll have a good reason. He may just be shy? Or maybe he doesnt wanna come on too strong, he definitly likes you, but I think he doesnt know what you like and doesnt wanna suggest something stupid!

Here is the summary/plot to my story:
May is an 18 year old muslim girl who is a soon to be college freshmen living in Lansing, Michigan with her parents and this story begins durning the summer of her senior year of high school and her freshmen year of college.
Yusef is a 20 year old muslim boy who recently moved from Seattle, Washington to Lancing, Michigan with his parents and 19 year old brother, Malik.
May's parent's friends host a dinner party to welcome Yusef and his family to Lansing. They invite May's parents.
While they are eating dinner, May is sitting across from Yusef and they exchange a couple flirty smiles. Yusef thinks about her through out the whole party and even after the party. They have an instant connection.
The next day, May and her friend, Muna, are out shopping and May tells Muna about Yusef. Muna tries to convince May that Yusef has feelings for her. Later on, Muna and May are eating lunch at Applebees when they spot Yusef, his parents, and his brother there too. They keep looking at each other and smiling in that 'I like you' way.
The next night, May and her parents are at the Mosque and she and Yusef pass each other multiple times.
Basically, the month following the dinner party, May and Yusef see each other at barbeques, dinner parties, birthday events, etc.

What should i do now?
My fiance and i have been going through a rough patch lately. He says that everything is fine and he is happy with the relationship, but i feel the opposite way. He doesnt appreciate anything that i do. i can spend hours cleaning the house and he will come and mess things up without even thinking. He can be very lazy when it comes to household chores. I am the one who takes out the garbage most of the time! I believe a relationship should be 50/50 but he isnt doing his part. Usually when i cant take it any more i try to not clean and cook and let him get a feeling of how i feel but he will never lift a finger no matter how messy it gets (plus i hate being embarrassed by company). I have talked to him about this and He says that he is happy because he loves me and even when i make him angry he lets it slide because he says every moment is precious. I completely understand what he is saying, but i think he feels that way because i do everything to make him happy. I do so because i expect the same treatment back from him. Im not happy right now because i dont see any effort being put forth. What im going through isnt something i can just forget because everyday i will open my eyes and see that mess that he never bothers to clean up, or feeling unhappy because he never takes me out(besides the traditional movies and fridays or applebees). I completely understand what he is saying, but i think he feels that way because i do everything to make him happy. I do so because i expect the same treatment back from him. Im not happy right now because i dont see any effort being put forth. What im going through isnt something i can just forget because everyday i will open my eyes and see that mess that he never bothers to clean up, or feeling unhappy because he never takes me out(besides the traditional movies and fridays or applebees). We have been together for three years so far, ad i just want the rest of our life to be enjoyable. I love him with all my heart and i feel like just leaving him would be a bit extreme. I think we can work this problem out, i just dont know how to do it without becoming a nag! Please Help!!Am i right or wrong?!?

Your first mistake is moving in with him. Men get very complacent when a gal moves in. You've heard the saying, Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? It's true. He won't marry because he will be already getting everything = cooking, cleaning sex you name it he is getting it. But you - your not getting the security of the relationship from him. You require something to be attached to so you don't feel like your hanging by a thread in the relationship. Just waiting for the shoe to drop....knowing he's single and can walk away after afew years and now here you are standing there wondering What Happened?? Why?? So you want marriage to secure it. Well .....he doesn't think that way. Men and women have different agendas.
Relationships rarely ever are 50/50 ok. My own wonderful marriage of 11 yrs rarely is that. You have to compromise. Sometimes it's more me sometimes it's more him. But the KEY is your guy is not trying to "compromise" at all. He knows to take out the garbage and lend a hand. He knows to do things around the house to help keep not only the house running smoothly but keep you on an even keel too. But he doesn't. Why? He is selfish. Now I want you to realize this %26gt; If he doesn't act and do things now he sure as hell won't after you marry him ok? He won't. You have to condition a man in the get-go beforehand. I used to work with a lady years ago who had been married for 10 yrs to a man and one day she came into work complaining about how Eddie wouldn't help out at home. He never does anything. They have kids and she works and does everything when she comes home. I said to her 'Catherine it's your fault'. She looked at me like I had lost my mind. I said, 'You have let him go 10 yrs and now you want him to change???' 'You should have worked on him from the very start.
My husband helps out he works but he also puts on a load of clothes or if I pull out clothes out the dryer I ask him to help fold. He does. I incorporate him into the mix!!! Got it? That is what you need to do with this guy. An don't be marrying him anytime soon. You need to "condition" him now before the marriage otherwise walk away. I know that's hard but it's better to walk then go through a nasty divorce maybe with kids involved later on in life all because he wan't the man you wanted.
It's not written in stone to marry. Or for that matter marry any one person. So pick and choose wisely.

Sounds like my dearest husband! This fool does not clean, lift a finger at all. Only when I get really upset and start yelling then he'll wash 3-4 dishes and pick up stuff on the floor to shut me up. He works alot and def a good provider and a great father to our children. We don't go out very often and if we do it'll be in a Chinese restaurant. My advise to u is that if rite now you are not happy you will never be happy. I kinda learned the hard way- after 2 kids and 8 yrs of marriage 13 yrs of being together it's not worth it. I'm not happy now nor will be but I'm comfortable with my life. We both work and try to take care of the kids but I guess I'm to blame cuz I never enforce the 50/50 part in the beginning- TRUST me, before you go thru all these lay down the SPECIFIC and do not let him be like this.miata

Whats the worst birthday you've ever had?
mine was yesterday and i chose to stay at home with my parents instead of going out with friends and my parents didnt say happy birthday to me for several hours until i reminded them...but then since i was pretty sure i wasn't getting a gift i asked if we could go to the harry potter exhibition since its the last day...they said no but i was like NBD....maybe we could get applebees in times square since its my BIRTHDAY but my parents kept saying no because my mom didnt like the food there. so then we went to some other restuarant that had seafood, just because my mom wanted to go, and my food tasted nastehh....
then we went to this place selling knock off bags and i asked if i could get one that was only 12 dollars and they said no...but then my mom got THREE purses, EIGHTY DOLLARS WORTH in total...

Happy belated birthday! And I don't know why, but I'm usually really depressed on my birthdays. I'm not a social person, so maybe it's just the fact that there's so many people around that gets to me, but anyway...
I think my absolute worst would have to be my 10th, because my dad promised he would come by the house and see me (I have divorced parents), and he ended up not coming because of work. I think I just sat on the stairs and cried for the rest of the day, and every once in a while somebody would come and give me a present to open. When it came time for the cake, I just walked in the room, blew out the candles, and went back to the stairs without even eating any. It was pretty terrible, but looking back I kinda wish I hadn't been so mopey; I think it offended some of my relatives.
My absolute best would definitely be my last one (13th). It was just me, my mom, and my great-grandma. Not a huge deal at all, the cake was just a home-made chocolate cake with sprinkles, and my mom made me spaghetti (my favorite food). I didn't even get really amazing presents, but I liked it because it was quiet and relaxing instead of loud and crazy.
12. I was feeling sick, I was tired, my mom made me do extra chores, I didn't get anything I wanted, and my dog killed an endangered kangaroo rat, which I took as a bad omen.Whats the worst birthday you've ever had?
