How much more are benz and audi parts compared to toyota parts?

are they really that much more?

am i better off witha domestic car around 80k miles OR a japanese car with 120-140k miles? How much more are benz and audi parts compared to toyota parts?Benz parts are A LOT more than toyota. We do our own oil changes for our c230 and it cost us $60. This car takes fully synthetic oil and the filter is special order. To do brakes our selves was around $100. The dealership around our house charges $200 for oil and around $100 for breaks. How much more are benz and audi parts compared to toyota parts? It depends on the condition of the car at this time of sale. If the car has 80k miles, and has had regular services and maintenance, it may be a very good buy if the price falls in line with comparable cars. German car parts generally cost more than the same type of part used on a Japanese Toyota, Honda, or Nissan. Then there are some bigger cars, like Infinity, or Mercedes Benz, or Seven Series BMW with astronomical prices on complex replacement parts. You might inquire of an automobile club (AAA, or AVD or ADAC) if they have ever made a comparison survey of 50 popular replacement parts on each of the above named cars.
