If you dont mind spending some money, use the parking garage. Is it safe to bring an Audi to New York City?
My cousin got his A4 stolen right out of the driveway and had it totalled by the thieves. It didn't take one night though so you should be safe unless they were not really pros.
It was done over multiple nights. They did something to the lock and you know when you put the key in and manually open the door, it disables the factory alarm so they were able to bypass the factory alarm on the last night using the lock.
All he heard that night was it starting up and then an empty driveway. Police did recover it but the front end was totalled.
If you do drive, you can use a parking lot. There is Alliance that cost $10 for 12 hours and I'll give you the link the the garage a minute. It could also save you from a parking ticket on the streets which will run alot more.

http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.p鈥?/a>Is it safe to bring an Audi to New York City?I had neighbors who have ashton martin, and benz parked in a car lot and they were not stolen. I was living in south bronx at the time.
Yeah, not every New Yorker is ready to bust open car windows and steal. I've seen antique cars parked around in my neighborhood that could easily go for more than an Audi. And these belong to people who have lived here for more than ten years.
Its safe. ;DIs it safe to bring an Audi to New York City?1) I have seen much nicer cars than Audi's in New York City being driven around.
2) There is no way you're going to find street parking, let alone street parking in which you're allowed to leave your car their overnight. It will be ticketed or towed before it is stolen. Is it safe to bring an Audi to New York City?
Stick it in a garage and you will most likely have no issues.
Well, surprisingly, in a survey of cities with the highest rates of automobile thefts, New York City came in at about #200, and the top-ten were mostly in California.
No, what they do here is break into cars rather than steal them, so, if you were to park your car on the street in New York City, it'll still be there when you go back to it in the morning, but there's a fairly high probability that you'll find the window smashed in and the radio and any other small electronics, like cell phones, iPods or GPS units, gone.
So, listen, if you can afford that Audi, then you can afford to park it in a garage, so that's what you should do, OK?Is it safe to bring an Audi to New York City?
Dude, they park benz's, beamers and everything else on my neighborhood streets and I live in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Just a hop skip away from Bedstuy.
Just don't leave anything visible inside the car that thieves will want to break in for.
