My Audi A8 2000, with a v8 engine started making noise today. The Check Engine light is on as well. It started when I accidently pressed on the gas pedal instead of the brake when started my car, so it floored the engine while in park.
Now the car shakes and the is a loud repeated clicking noise.Audi engine is making noise and car is shaking?You may have jumped a cog in your valve timing or thrown a piston rod. Don't run it; have it looked at pronto.Audi engine is making noise and car is shaking?Go see a mechanic?
