Just before getting out of the car hit that button and it should immobilise the alarm but still lock it.How can I lock my 2002 Audi A6 without arming the alarm? You can kill the motion sensor. There is a switch located on the driver's side door pillar in front of the seatbelt. Push it in, and it kills it. Push it again, and it activates it. This is on my A4, so it should be the same... Btw, you said: "I have a dog which I bring with me to run erons and I am afraid that if I bring him with me to the store someone will break in a steal him."
