Is audi expensive for parts and maintance?

I'm looking for a used car and found a 2004 audi that I like but I'm wondering if maintenance is expensive? I currently have an altima which has very reasonable maintenance cost. The audi would be our second car. Thanks!!Is audi expensive for parts and maintance? As an owner of several, I would say yes and no. If you maintain it (synthetic oil changes, G12 coolant changes, timing belt service on time, etc) it will treat you well. Some parts are expensive, but what kills the most is the labor, because the parts are located in the oddest of places, if they need replacing. If you find a good independent Audi tech, you can get away far cheaper than the dealer. I would suggest that you have that Audi you are interested in THOROUGHLY checked over by an independent Audi tech, and if it is green light, go with it.Is audi expensive for parts and maintance?I'd have to say yes, expensive. A replacement key would cost you hundreds of dollars if you lost all of yours. It would have to be towed to the dealer or you might be able to find a locksmith to come out and do it, but it might not program for them. German cars are weird, and have to be worked on by specialists pretty much, and parts are not easy to come by in junkyards. Is audi expensive for parts and maintance?I heard they are expensive for maintanance, but I also heard they're well engineered!
